ANIMAL CRUELTY OR NOT?
Alright I was debating whether or not to bring this to light, but I’m just so amazed by the ignorance present that I thought you all would understand.
so here we have “Pink” who purchased 10 little goldfish and stuck them in waterbottle as an enclosure. I tried to tell her that this is harmful to the fish and “just because” they’re fish does not mean they’re worthless and you can treat them however you like.
Just because an animal is small, just because an animal is perhaps a little dumb, just because an animal is cheap, does not mean it is unfeeling or stupid. ALL creatures have personality and a will to live. Just because they can’t explain it in words doesn’t make it true.
The fact that these are thirteen cent feeder fish doesn’t mean sticking them in waterbottles is not harmful.
Perhaps I could have approached this differently, but all in all this is cruel and inhumane to treat these animals like this and please tell me I’m not alone in thinking so.
Compared to those poor babies my betta lives in a 5 gallon mansion that he gets all to himself and that’s not even a full recommended size for a betta. This is definitely animal abuse :T Fish don’t even have short memories, this has been proven countless times and they are actually extremely intelligent. I feel so bad for these poor fish. She should not own them if she thinks they’re “just fish” they live, they breath, the feel, the even recognize us. This is beyond animal cruelty. This is straight up ignorance. “It’s just a fish” is not a proper excuse.

Don’t Do Drugs
Every time I play Animal Crossing and I need to write a letter to one of the animals in my town, I go to my songs on my phone and hit shuffle. I take the random song and write my favorite lyrics from the song in the letter. So, this happened. I found the opportunity too perfect, that a song about doing it like animals do, came up.
